About Meadows and More

Meadows and More is the wild plant-brainchild of forager and meadow doctor Tama Matsuoka Wong. Tama is also the author of Foraged Flavor with Chef Eddy Leroux (James Beard nominated), Scraps Wilt and Weeds with Chef Mads Refslund (IACP Award winner) and now Into the Weeds, about a different way to work with and harvest from the land.
 
Based in rural New Jersey, Meadows and More has been supplying a select number of chefs in the greater New York region for over a decade and has a reputation for wild plant knowledge, product quality, sustainable practices and creative collaborations. The taste of the wild is the taste of a plant grown freely by nature. Flavor dense and nutrient dense. We do not design or control, we are merely stewards of the land. We develop an intense relationship with wild plants to learn their when, what and why and then to collect their bounty with gratitude and respect. It's a dance with the terroir.
