About The Ugly Co.

The Ugly Company was born on the seat of a tractor in Central California. Growing up Ben (Ugly Co. Founder) and his dad would haul and dump millions of pounds of delicious fruit that came from their neighbor's farms. They couldn't sell their full crop because it had cosmetic imperfections. After witnessing this first-hand, he was determined to find a better way. Using his grandma's roof-dried all-natural fruit as inspiration, Ben founded The Ugly Company.

At The Ugly Company, we are committed to making a difference and are proud to show that imperfection can be transformed into something beautiful. By not judging a fruit by it's cover, we're preventing food waste and creating a healthy, dried fruit snack for all to enjoy. But it's not just about the product; our larger vision is to achieve zero food waste at farms globally. We believe if we work together with our partners from the farm all the way to the store, we can create a more sustainable and equitable food system. The Ugly Company truly cultivates beauty from the ugly and is leading the way in the fight against food waste.
