More About This Product

Ramp leaves, Allium tricoccum, is a slow growing perennial native wild plant which is only visible above the ground for a short time in the spring in deciduous forests in Eastern North America. For sustainability reasons, Meadows and More does not dig out the bulbs of the ramps but carefully harvests one leaf per plant so the plant can continue to thrive with the remaining leaf or two. Ramps are delicious in a myriad of ways raw, in dips, oil, sauce or grilled.
